Born and raised in Ethiopia, Modi has always had a deep-rooted passion for helping others. With over a decade of experience as a clinical nurse, she worked in various settings, including hospitals and childcare centers, where she honed her skills in patient care and empathy. Her commitment to health and wellness led her to explore new horizons, and in 2017, she made the courageous decision to move to Canada.

Upon her arrival, Modi had determination and a desire to deepen her understanding of holistic healing. She enrolled in the massage therapy program at Bryan College, where she graduated in 2023 and became a registered massage therapist (RMT).

Excited to step into her new role, Modi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She is fully confident in her abilities, specializing in a wide array of techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, holistic stress relief techniques and joint manipulation. She is particularly skilled in addressing concerns such as neck tension, migraines, headaches, and limited range of motion through therapeutic massage techniques.

In her practice, Modi collaborates closely with physiotherapists and chiropractors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client health and wellness.

Karolina have worked in a variety of massage therapy settings from spa to rehabilitative clinics. Her previous work and training as a Kinesiologist has given her a unique perspective on the body and how to treat it effectively, and how to work in collaboration with other therapists for optimal client outcomes.

Working at neurological rehabilitation clinics with clients who sustained brain and spinal cord injuries has been wonderfully challenging and she takes that experience and compassion into her daily treatments. She have also worked extensively with orthopaedic injuries such as repetitive strains, rotator cuff injuries and knee pain. As a busy mom of 2 active boys, she have learned how important it is to have a “me time”. Therefore, her treatments gives you a chance to slow down, take a moment to relax and shake the stress of work away.
